DP2 (i.e. the 'Dropped Pomegranate Project') is a metaproject. We are interested in creating (tools, systems, environments) for really smart people. If properly designed, such things should be usable by people who are not really smart to do neat things too.
DP2 is the meta-expression of a techno-linguistic motivation; we are interested in expressive languages and communications media. Computers happen to be very good at information processing and are obviously well-used for bringing people into communication. we explore new ways of communication and make the processing bit less painful.
We are working on libraries in various languages for doing reactive event-based programming. The development of these libraries is being driven by their applications.
